I pulled myself in on my study table looking at meself through the reflection of the mirror. My hair that was only the length of my neck last year have grown till my shoulders and I aint planning on cutting it since rumors says that Ashton like girls with long hair. Another rumor was that Ashton like girls with Brown eyes but sadly mine is black and I cant change that.
I sighed at myself and thought that even if I did look good my stupid attitude would bring me down by a lot of measures, my shyness on top of that.
"Sis? Are you packed?"
It was my younger sister, Diana. Our age difference is only a year so we should more or less look like each other but, no.
Unlike me, she have long curly bright brown hair that always falls in place.
Unlike me, she have brown eyes which she got from our father.
Unlike me, she is always very confident of herself and she never back down.
"Yeah!"
Before Diane left to close the door she looked at me and gave me a smile, I didnt know if I should feel happy since she looked sincere or jealous since she looked very pretty and I felt like she mocked me even though she didnt. I didnt help but wonder if Ashton would change his mind for loving for hers instead. I mean, she is more beautiful and confident so why not?
Throughout the night my mind filled with worries and wonders 'till my eyes finally fluttered to sleep and my mind flied to dreamland.
"Hey babe," I felt someone's lips brush against my ears as Railey and I made our way through the front gates of the school, at first I was about to jump and scream but thank goodness I didnt cause it was Ashton. I gave him a smile as he pulled me into a hug from the back (was pulling myself together since everyone was staring and I really felt like fainting).
Railey pretended to puke and said, "Seriously, Ash? Get a room!" She have always amazed me on how she can call people with their nicknames without caring, i have always wished to call Ashton, 'Ash'.
"Luke!" Her light green eyes glittered as Luke appeared from behind of Ashton. Railey have a huge crush on Ashton and I bet the whole Campus knows this since she have confessed to him almost everytime and I bet she is about ot do it n- "Go out with me?" "No." And there you have it.
Luke have turned down Railey just like that for more than a million times but never have Railey thought of giving up and she told me last year that they have known each other since childhood so I bet it was since then. A lot of people thinks that it is pathetic of Railey confessing like that every single time but I kind of envy it, cause if I were her, one rejection would have me sit at home sulking at one corner eating ice cream till I die.
I didnt realize that I was staring at Luke when Ashton nudged me. He seemed to be pouting with his cheeks like an inflated balloon. Wait- was he jealous?
"Dont look at other guys...." His face flushed and so did mine.
He was jealous.
I felt my face heat up more so I looked away and as I looked away I felt his hands slip into mine. He held it tightly like he never wanted to let go and so I squeezed back. We were wearing jackets so I guess it wasnt that visible to many people that we were holding hands but I bet Railey and Luke knew cause they were looking at us with teasing smiles. We walked towards the doemitories together with Railey and Luke and parted ways at the lift.
Dormitories only started this year so last year we didnt have any dorms and had to go home every single day. The boys dorms are on floors 2-5 while the girls take over the upper half, 6-9. Luke and Ashton's room were the same since they requested it to be and so was Railey's and mine. They were on the fifth floor and we were on the sixth and coisidentally our units was the same so they were directly below us.
Ding! The elevator stoped at the sixth floor and Railey got out after me. I looked at my key number 6-17.
14....15....16.....17! It was a dark coloured door just like the rest with mine and Railey's name tagged on it with two more girls, i wonder who they are....
